Left feeling confident

Having Sinéad at the end of the phone was invaluable for me. When my son was six months old, Sinéad introduced us to a routine and helped tweak it until it worked perfectly for us. Our days changed from feeling like I was chasing my tail to feeling more manageable and in control. She made me feel more confident as a mother and eased my anxieties with her calming understanding approach. Thank you!

Problem solving

Zoom or WhatsApp

In the UK it is common for new mums to have to leave hospital a day or two after delivering their baby, without having received much information; they are somehow supposed to know how to care for their new family members without any additional support or advice.

This can understandably be overwhelming, and some of us don't have someone close to ask questions like “Is this crying normal?”, “Why can't I get her to burp?” or are perhaps left asking themselves “What am I doing wrong?”

You aren't doing anything wrong.

Sometimes all it takes is someone to give you the confidence to make a minor tweak, or to make everything feel easier and more manageable.

I am here to help with any specific concerns you may have, no matter how big or small they may seem.

I also specialise in supporting with reflux, bottle refusal and premature babies.

This consultation can take place via Zoom or in a WhatsApp conversation or see bespoke packages for an in person consultation at a location that suits you. (Travel costs may apply).

Sinéad instantly fitted the bill – we found her open, communicative and friendly. Our baby appeared to take to her, and this rapport quickly grew over the first few weeks. She is a highly friendly and warm person with a lovely sense of humour too! Many nights, I found myself chatting to her in the nursery when I was unable to fall asleep easily and had popped out to get water or a snack. She was great at providing moral support to me as a new mum.

We found Sinéad to be both hugely professional and at the same time unbelievably kind and loving to our babies, snuggling them at night and getting them dressed in the morning. In addition, we found her wise counsel invaluable from feed’s to changing and sleep preferences, all of which made our’s and our babies lives much, much better.

It was always a comfort to know that Sinéad was coming to stay and that our daughter would be well cared for so that we could rest at ease. Sinéad was always professional, polite and courteous and made us feel very comfortable to have her in our home. It was fantastic to be able to ask Sinéad anything and to not feel judged and to use her wealth of experience as a mum and nanny when caring for my daughter.
